coat of wire...

My friend in love, Kandee, positively reinforced the thought of devine presence actually pulling me back, just like a "catapult" or slingshot to advance me forward in the direction of my dreams. It's like a quote from Thoreau....
Here I go , confidently in the direction of Halloween dreamland.
I gave mention to the Post Card Salon I participated in on Facebook… I took some pictures of the event and my doll. Artists were called on to created 4x6 works of art to be sold at the event for $20 each. It was a mad dash when the clock struck 5:55.
:)
I received the last of the baubles for the swap... I am packing them up..... to come back to you! Some of the ladies participating did not want recognition, so I will package those baubles in a plastic bag , while others packages their baubles with web and blog info included! Each way is completely fine! I don't want to post pictures of the baubles because it would ruin your surprise!
I have new work to share with you as well....When things are not going as planned in all other aspects of life I am pleased with a finished doll as this is my touchable progress...
Progress is advancement in a given direction...
advancement in this direction is energy put forth into the world that you can touch...
touchable progress ahhhhhhh.

post card ... non mailable

Thank you and love to you!

Halloween Balloons

Balloons are really magical. I have been entranced by the Movie UP lately and I love the light and wispy animation of the balloons ... my little one does too! Balloons make me remember... my dreams are not something to reach up for, but something to breathe in...
Something not just out of reach...
but a place I can go always...
I love what Mr. Fredrickson says at the end of the movie....It's just a house....

My latest Prim Pumpkin creation features two out of this world blown glass balloons, which I love. One must smile when looking at a balloon! I funned with this piece a bit and made her a disguise...- a removable mustache. This art doll is holding her human play doll.

I am looking for a show or Halloween related venue to offer my work, any ideas are welcome... I still want to offer my dolls mainly on my blog and ETSY shop, because I never ever want money to get in the way of someone owning my art.
I put way more than money into an art doll, and while I want this to be a sustaining source of income, money is not the reason I create them...
If my art speaks to you, and you feel you must own it... then well, darn it ... it should be yours. I am happy to accommodate you with a payment plan.

Love to you... as always!
P.s.
I am putting together all of the baubles from the swap, just waiting on 2 swappers to send goodies...
